He Could've Stopped it, but He didn't...

Our hearts are heavy and broken for those in our region dealing with the aftermath of Tropical Storm Imelda. While the HODO headquarters and team did not suffer direct losses, we have many in our circle that have. We want you to know that we have been there. We all suffered losses during Harvey, as did many of you, and we get it. We are available to help muck homes, prepare and deliver meals, do laundry, watch your kiddos, listen to you, hug you while you cry, share a coffee and a dessert, whatever we can do besides the obvious prayers.
We are in this together and we know that God always has a plan. He could've stopped it, but He didn't because there's something for us in it. We truly believe that nothing is wasted in God's kingdom and He isn't just the beginning and the end, He's the everything else in between. He loves the results, He gets glory from them, but the relationship is cultivated in the process. So I urge you, as you process all the events of the past week, never question God's sovereignty or power. His kingdom and throne have never been in trouble....let that sink in for a minute... If He has allowed you to be taken to it, He will absolutely see you through it. Just lean into Him and let Him get you through.
You are loved. You are wanted. You are going to be OK. You are stronger than you think.
Did I mention YOU ARE LOVED?!?!?!
